The Click and Listen tool allows you to click on a paragraph and have that paragraph read out loud. This also allows you to go back and re-listen when needed or if you prefer to listen to smaller parts of content at a time instead of all at once.
When
In any class, as you read, you can now "chunk" material and take notes as you prepare for a test or prepare to write a paper. Chucking the material is a great reading strategy.
In a previous lesson, we talked about bimodal learning. This combination of multiple methods is called multimodal learning. You see and read the paragraph, hear it read to you while you are reading, and then write your notes. By using these three senses- sight, hearing, and touch- you will have a higher retention rate for the material.
